Notice Regarding Modified Filing Directions in Civil and Criminal Appeals
Use of Facsimile in the Court of Appeal (Civil & Criminal Practice Directive, 19 September 2011)
All documents that fit within the size restrictions (i.e., documents that are less than 300 pages/100MB)
PDFs must have Optical Character Recognition enabled
A scanned original signature is required for affidavits, orders and statutory declarations. For all other documents, a typewritten signature is sufficient.
All documents in civil appeals must be filed through Court Services Online.
Documents that cannot be filed through CSO can be filed by email to CACounter@bccourts.ca or by fax to (604) 660-1951.
